Somatic mutations within non-coding RNA loci have been shown to play important roles in disease pathogenesis. To systematically explore mutations within circRNA loci, we collected cancer mutation data from the TCGA Pan-Cancer cohort, covering 30 cancer types and 10,141 samples. All genomic coordinates were mapped to the GRCh37/hg19 reference assembly. By intersecting cancer mutations with circBase circRNA loci, we identified 7,159,865 mutation-circRNA associations across 30 cancer types.
Circ2Mut is a dedicated module designed to retrieve somatic mutations within circRNA loci and explore their potential relevance across cancer types.
