circSOBP (hsa_circ_0001633) is down-regulated in bladder cancer and acts as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting proliferation, migration, invasion, tumor growth and metastasis. It primarily localizes to the cytoplasm and functions as a ceRNA by sponging miR-200a-3p to increase PTEN expression. Clinically, higher circSOBP is associated with better overall survival and may correlate with response to PD-1/PD-L1-based immunotherapy. |
