Description:

circPVT1 is up-regulated in breast cancer (including ERalpha-positive tumors) and promotes ERalpha-positive breast tumorigenesis and endocrine therapy resistance. Mechanistically, it sponges miR-181a-2-3p to increase ESR1/ERalpha signaling and directly binds MAVS to block RIGI-MAVS complex formation, suppressing type I IFN signaling and anti-tumor immunity; ASO-mediated circPVT1 inhibition suppresses tumor growth and re-sensitizes tamoxifen-resistant cells.
