circ-FADS2 is upregulated in colorectal cancer and is associated with advanced stage, lymphatic metastasis, and poor overall survival. Functionally, it promotes CRC cell proliferation, invasion, and cell-cycle progression, at least in part by sponging miR-498 to upregulate S100A16 and activate the AKT pathway.
