circAAGAB is a hypoxia-downregulated, cytoplasmic circRNA from AAGAB that suppresses breast cancer malignant phenotypes by binding FUS (stabilization) and acting as a ceRNA for miR-378 h to de-repress KIAA1522/NKX3-1/JADE3. It activates p38 MAPK signaling and reduces colony formation, migration/invasion and EMT, while increasing radiosensitivity (especially after ionizing radiation). |
