Description:

circSCAP is up-regulated in NSCLC tissues and cell lines and mainly localizes to the cytoplasm. It promotes NSCLC cell proliferation, migration and invasion by acting as a ceRNA that sponges miR-7, thereby de-repressing SMAD2; its high expression is associated with worse overall survival.
