Up-regulated circ_0000877 was linked to tumor size, differentiation, TNM stages, and short overall survival, indicating poor prognosis; the study suggests circ_0000877 might be a potential biomarker for NSCLC diagnosis.
In this study, circ_0000877 was up-regulated in NSCLC tissues and cell lines, and high expression was associated with clinicopathological progression and poor overall survival. Functionally, circ_0000877 promoted NSCLC cell proliferation, immune escape, and tumor growth while suppressing apoptosis. Mechanistically, circ_0000877 directly interacted with miR-637 and regulated the downstream target E2F2, forming a circ_0000877/miR-637/E2F2 axis.
