High circ-TRPS1 expression correlated with aggressive PCa phenotypes and unfavorable prognosis; circ-TRPS1 may be a prognostic/predictive biomarker and candidate therapeutic target.
circ-TRPS1 is up-regulated in high-grade prostate cancer tissues and PCa cell lines, and high expression is associated with aggressive clinicopathologic features and poor prognosis. Functionally, circ-TRPS1 promotes PCa proliferation, migration, invasion, metastasis, and cancer stem-like cell differentiation by sponging miR-124-3p and increasing EZH2 expression. Its knockdown suppresses tumor growth and metastasis in vitro and in vivo, supporting circ-TRPS1 as a potential therapeutic target.

Downregulation of circ-TRPS1 suppressed prostatic cancer prognoses by regulating miR-124-3p/EZH2 axis-mediated stemness.
