circIFNGR2 expression in PBMCs was positively correlated with ASDASCRP score, BASDAI score, and serum C-reactive protein levels (disease activity). |
| Description: |
circIFNGR2 is up-regulated in PBMCs from ankylosing spondylitis patients and correlates with disease activity. It promotes macrophage proliferation and pro-inflammatory M1 polarization while inhibiting M2 polarization by sponging miR-939, thereby enhancing iNOS/TNFalpha expression and modulating NF-kappaB and Akt/mTOR signaling. Its biogenesis is facilitated by the RBP eIF4A3 binding to flanking sequences. |
