Clinical significance:

circZBTB46 expression was associated with the stages of AML patients and showed high sensitivity and specificity for diagnosing AML.

Description:

circZBTB46 is up-regulated in AML and functions as an oncogenic circRNA that promotes AML cell proliferation and cell-cycle progression while inhibiting ferroptosis. It mainly localizes in the cytoplasm and acts as a ceRNA (notably sponging hsa-miR-671-5p) to upregulate SCD, thereby reducing lipid peroxidation and supporting tumor growth in a cell line-derived xenograft model.

Confidence score:

0.8745
