Description:

CircSLC8A1 is down-regulated in PPOL periprosthetic tissues and in Ti particle-induced PPOL cell models. Functionally, it promotes osteogenic differentiation and suppresses apoptosis in hBMSCs. Mechanistically, it acts as a ceRNA by sponging miR-144-3p to derepress RUNX1 (CircSLC8A1/miR-144-3p/RUNX1), thereby alleviating PPOL in vivo.
