Description:

circPVT1 is up-regulated in thyroid cancer and functions as an oncogenic circRNA, promoting proliferation, colony formation, migration and invasion. Mechanistically, it mainly localizes in the cytoplasm and sponges miR-384, and miR-384 inhibition partially rescues the effects of circPVT1 knockdown. High circPVT1 expression correlates with advanced TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, and poor prognosis.
