It suppresses proliferation and gefitinib resistance by acting as a ceRNA sponge for miR-615-3p to increase MEF2A, leading to cell-cycle arrest, enhanced apoptosis, and reduced mitochondrial OXPHOS; exosomal delivery of circKIF20B can restore gefitinib sensitivity in recipient cells.
