CircPRMT5 is up-regulated in colorectal cancer tissues and cell lines and is mainly localized in the cytoplasm. It promotes CRC proliferation and tumor growth by sponging miR-377 to increase E2F3 expression, thereby elevating cell-cycle proteins (CyclinD1 and CDK2), and high CircPRMT5 levels are associated with poorer overall survival. |
