Description:

circLMTK2 is up-regulated in pancreatic cancer and further increased in gemcitabine-resistant samples. It promotes GEM-resistant phenotypes by acting as a ceRNA that sponges miR-485-5p, thereby relieving repression of PAK1 and enhancing proliferation/migration/invasion while inhibiting apoptosis; silencing circLMTK2 reduces tumor growth in a xenograft model.
