It promotes melanoma proliferation, migration, invasion and xenograft growth by directly binding the RBP DND1, thereby relieving DND1-mediated suppression of PI3K/AKT signaling (increasing p-AKT). High circFCHO2 expression is associated with worse OS/DFS and serves as an independent prognostic risk factor.
