Description:

Circulating cZNF292 is up-regulated in whole blood of AMI (and ACS) patients and, when combined with basic clinical information, improves diagnostic performance in machine-learning/logistic-regression models. Functionally, cZNF292 is induced by OGD/R in endothelial cells and hESC-derived cardiomyocytes, and its knockdown reduces apoptosis, suggesting a pro-apoptotic role under ischemia/reperfusion-like stress.
