It promotes gastric cancer proliferation, invasion, tumorigenesis, and lung/liver metastasis by acting as a miR-138-5p sponge to increase ZEB2 expression. High circTNIK expression is associated with aggressive phenotypes and poor overall survival, suggesting prognostic value.
