Biological function: enhances oxaliplatin sensitivity and is associated with less lymph node metastasis and prolonged disease-free survival in gastric cancer
Molecular mechanism: not specified
Biological pathway or process:

drug resistance (inhibits)

Detected method:
Q
Validation methods:

RT-qPCR; RNase R Treatment; Clinical Sample Validation; Cohort Study; Survival Analysis; Transfection; CCK8

Clinical significance:

Tumor circ‐MTO1 high expression was independently correlated with prolonged disease‐free survival (DFS) and was correlated with less lymph node metastasis and low TNM stage.

Description:

circ-MTO1 is down-regulated in gastric cancer tumor tissue and higher tumor circ-MTO1 levels are associated with less lymph node metastasis and lower TNM stage. Clinically, high tumor circ-MTO1 predicts longer disease-free survival, and experimentally circ-MTO1 overexpression increases oxaliplatin sensitivity in gastric cancer cell lines.

Confidence score:

0.6866

Other information
