Description:

circ-GLG1 is an up-regulated GLG1-derived circRNA in bladder cancer and is associated with advanced pTNM stage and poor overall survival. Functionally, it promotes malignant phenotypes and xenograft tumor growth. Mechanistically, circ-GLG1 sponges miR-346 to derepress KCNJ9, leading to activation of TGF-beta/SMAD, PI3K/AKT, and MAPK signaling pathways.
