Description:

circPLK1 is upregulated in NSCLC tissues and serum exosomes and promotes NSCLC cell proliferation, migration, and invasion while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically, exosomal circPLK1 functions as a miR-1294 sponge to maintain high HMGA1 expression, forming a circPLK1/miR-1294/HMGA1 regulatory axis. High circPLK1 expression is associated with poor overall survival and shows potential diagnostic value in NSCLC.
