Description:

circNFIC is down-regulated in breast cancer (especially lung metastatic tissues) and functions as a tumor suppressor. It predominantly localizes to the cytoplasm and acts as a ceRNA by sponging miR-658 to relieve repression of UPK1A, thereby inhibiting proliferation and lung metastasis; low circNFIC is associated with worse survival.
