circ-ARHGER28 could be a potential biomarker for BC diagnosis and treatment, with reported ROC diagnostic value in BC tissues and peripheral blood.
circ-ARHGER28 is down-regulated in breast cancer tissues, peripheral blood, and breast cancer cell lines, and shows diagnostic biomarker potential. Functionally, circ-ARHGER28 overexpression suppresses MCF-7 proliferation, colony formation, and migration while inducing G2/M arrest and apoptosis, likely through regulation of apoptosis-related genes/proteins and the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.
