Description:

circSPIDR is down-regulated in cervical adenocarcinoma and functions as a tumour suppressor. It sponges miR-431-5p to de-repress SORCS1 and CUBN, thereby inhibiting proliferation/colony formation and promoting apoptosis, and it suppresses tumour growth in xenograft models. Clinically, circSPIDR shows diagnostic potential by ROC analysis and correlates with miR-431-5p/SORCS1/CUBN expression in patient tissues.
