Description:

circFOXM1 is up-regulated in nasopharyngeal carcinoma and mainly localized in the cytoplasm. It promotes NPC cell proliferation, migration, invasion and EMT by acting as a ceRNA that sponges miR-136-5p to increase SMAD2 expression. High circFOXM1 expression is associated with advanced stage and poor prognosis.
