circBACH2 can be used as a tumor biomarker of PTC and is related to overall survival; ROC AUC=0.8631 |
| Description: |
circBACH2 (hsa_circ_0001627), derived from BACH2, is up-regulated in papillary thyroid carcinoma and mainly localizes to the cytoplasm. It promotes PTC proliferation, migration, invasion and in vivo tumor growth by sponging miR-139-5p and de-repressing LMO4, forming a circBACH2/miR-139-5p/LMO4 ceRNA axis. High circBACH2 expression is associated with worse overall survival and shows diagnostic potential (AUC 0.8631). |
