Clinical significance:

circTADA2A-E5/E6 had diagnostic value in TNBC by ROC analysis (AUC 0.9366). Low circTADA2A-E5/E6 levels were associated with shorter DFS and OS, but not statistically significant; no significant correlation between DFS/OS and circTADA2A-E5/E6 expression.

Description:

circTADA2A-E5/E6 (hsa_circ_0043278) is down-regulated in breast cancer/TNBC and was validated by RT-qPCR in clinical specimens and cell lines. It shows high diagnostic performance in TNBC by ROC analysis, but its association with survival and clinicopathologic parameters was not significant in this study, and no functional/mechanistic experiments were reported for this circRNA.
