Expression pattern:
UP
Associated gene: PTPN14, P-gp
Associated microRNA: miR-206
Biological function: promotes cisplatin resistance; decreases apoptosis; promotes xenograft tumor growth
Molecular mechanism: ceRNA mechanism: circ_AKT3 sponges miR-206 to regulate PTPN14, affecting cisplatin resistance
Biological pathway or process:

apoptosis (inhibits); drug resistance (promotes); ceRNA regulation (other)

Description:

circ_AKT3 is up-regulated in cisplatin-resistant gastric cancer tissues and resistant cell lines. Functionally, circ_AKT3 promotes cisplatin resistance (higher IC50 and P-gp, lower apoptosis) and enhances tumor growth in a cell line-derived xenograft model by sponging miR-206 to upregulate PTPN14 (ceRNA axis).

0.7032
