Description:

Circ-MTCL1 is down-regulated in HSCR diseased segment colon tissues. Functional assays indicate that Circ-MTCL1 supports migration and proliferation of SH-SY5Y and 293T cells, while knockdown suppresses these processes. Mechanistically, Circ-MTCL1 sponges miR-145-5p to regulate SMAD3 expression, suggesting a Circ-MTCL1/miR-145-5p/SMAD3 axis relevant to HSCR development and potential diagnosis.
