circFAM126A is upregulated in OSCC and acts as an oncogenic circRNA that promotes proliferation, invasion/migration and EMT, as well as tumor growth and metastasis in vivo. Mechanistically, it is transcriptionally activated by SP1 and promotes RAB41 expression through sponging miR-186 and interacting with the RBP FUS to enhance RAB41 mRNA stability (miR-186/FUS/RAB41 axis). High circFAM126A is associated with poor overall survival. |
