Description:

ciRS-7 is down-regulated in MM CD138+ plasma cells versus SMM/MGUS, yet higher ciRS-7 within MM patients predicts worse PFS/OS and serves as an independent unfavorable prognostic biomarker. Mechanistically, it is discussed mainly as a miRNA sponge with predicted miRNA targets and enriched cancer-related pathways from in silico analyses.
