hsa_circRNA_001586 is down-regulated by high glucose and restored by dapagliflozin in HK-2 cells. The study constructed and analyzed a predicted hsa_circRNA_001586-centered ceRNA network (hub miRNAs include hsa-miR-4739, hsa-miR-7851-3p, and hsa-miR-1273 g-3p) that may contribute to dapagliflozin’s protective effects in DKD, but direct functional validation for this circRNA was not shown.
