Description:

circPAK2 is a human PAK2-derived circRNA that is upregulated in gastric cancer tissues and metastatic lymph node tissues. It promotes gastric cancer migration, invasion, EMT, angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, and lymph node metastasis through an m6A-dependent YTHDC1-mediated nuclear export mechanism and a cytoplasmic circPAK2/IGF2BPs/VEGFA complex that stabilizes VEGFA mRNA. High circPAK2 expression predicts LN metastasis and poor OS/DFS, supporting its potential use as a prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target.
