| Validation methods: |
RT-qPCR; RNase R Treatment; Nuclear-Cytoplasmic Fractionation; Sanger Sequencing; Luciferase Reporter Assay; RNA Pull-Down; RIP (RNA Immunoprecipitation); Transfection; Cell Cycle Assay; Colony Formation Assay; MTT; Transwell Assay; Annexin V/PI Flow Cytometry; Western Blot; Clinical Sample Validation; In Vivo Animal Model; Bioinformatics Analysis; Survival Analysis |
| Clinical significance: |
High expression of circ_IRAK3 was associated with TNM grade, lymph node metastasis, and tumor size of BC patients; BC patients with high expression of circ_IRAK3 had a lower overall survival. |
| Description: |
circ_IRAK3 (hsa_circ_0005505) is up-regulated in breast cancer and promotes malignant phenotypes (proliferation, colony formation, migration/invasion, cell-cycle progression) while inhibiting apoptosis, and enhances tumor growth in vivo. It functions as a ceRNA by sponging miR-603 to upregulate KIF2A. High circ_IRAK3 expression is associated with worse overall survival and adverse clinicopathologic features. |
