Description:

circ_IRAK3 (hsa_circ_0005505) is up-regulated in breast cancer and promotes malignant phenotypes (proliferation, colony formation, migration/invasion, cell-cycle progression) while inhibiting apoptosis, and enhances tumor growth in vivo. It functions as a ceRNA by sponging miR-603 to upregulate KIF2A. High circ_IRAK3 expression is associated with worse overall survival and adverse clinicopathologic features.
