Validation methods:

Microarray; RT-qPCR; Clinical Sample Validation; Back-Splice Junction PCR / divergent primers PCR; Sanger Sequencing; RNase R Treatment; Actinomycin D / DRB Stability Assay; Nuclear-Cytoplasmic Fractionation; FISH / smFISH; ISH (In Situ Hybridization); RNA Pull-Down; RIP (RNA Immunoprecipitation); Western Blot; Transfection; CCK8; Colony Formation Assay; EdU Staining; Annexin V/PI Flow Cytometry; Cell Cycle Assay; Transwell Assay; In Vivo Animal Model; IHC (Immunohistochemistry); Survival Analysis; ROC Analysis

Clinical significance:

high expression of circDNAJC11 was closely correlated with a poor prognosis of BC patients and could be an independent risk factor for BC prognosis

Description:

circDNAJC11 (hsa_circ_0008389), derived from DNAJC11, is up-regulated in breast cancer (including TNBC) and mainly localizes in the cytoplasm. It promotes proliferation, migration, invasion and tumor growth while inhibiting apoptosis, by binding the RBP TAF15 to stabilize MAPK6 mRNA and activate MAPK signaling. High circDNAJC11 expression is associated with worse overall survival and is an independent prognostic risk factor in BC.

Confidence score:

0.8815

Other information
