circNFIX is overexpressed in OC and correlated with metastatic disease, advanced stage and poor prognosis; it may be a promising target for diagnosis, treatment and intervention of OC.
circNFIX is upregulated in ovarian cancer tissues and cell lines, and high circNFIX expression is associated with metastasis, advanced stage and poor prognosis. Mechanistically, m6A-modified circNFIX is maintained by IGF2BP1/2/3 recognition and promotes OC progression and immune escape by sponging miR-647 to upregulate IL-6R, activate JAK1/STAT3 signaling and increase PD-L1 expression.
