High circ-UBE2D2 expression is associated with aggressive clinicopathological features and shorter overall and disease-free survival in breast cancer patients.
circ-UBE2D2 is up-regulated in breast cancer and promotes malignant phenotypes (proliferation, migration, invasion, tumor growth) while inhibiting apoptosis. It functions mainly as a ceRNA by sponging miR-1236 and miR-1287 to de-repress their downstream target genes, and high expression predicts poorer OS/DFS.
