| Clinical significance: |
circFAT1 is upregulated in LUAD tumor tissues and may be a therapeutic target/marker for precision treatment; lower circFAT1 tumors may respond better to cisplatin (DDP). |
| Description: |
circFAT1 is upregulated in LUAD tissues and promotes LUAD cell proliferation and xenograft tumor growth. Mechanistically, it acts as a cytoplasmic ceRNA that sponges miR-7, leading to increased IRS2 and activation of ERK1/2 phosphorylation with elevated CCND1, facilitating G1/S progression. circFAT1 knockdown improves cisplatin (DDP) treatment efficacy in vitro and in a cell line-derived xenograft model. |
