CircCOL5A1 is up-regulated in RCC tissues and cell lines and is associated with poor prognosis, diagnostic potential, and aggressive clinicopathological features. Mechanistically, cytoplasmic circCOL5A1 sponges miR-3940-3p to increase KPNA2 expression, thereby promoting RCC cell proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT and glycolysis while inhibiting apoptosis.
