Description:

circSETD3 acts as a pro-radioresistance circRNA in nasopharyngeal carcinoma. It binds the 3′UTR of PDIA6 mRNA to enhance PDIA6 mRNA stability and protein expression, thereby maintaining ER proteostasis, suppressing UPR/ER stress, and inhibiting radiation-induced autophagy and apoptosis. The circSETD3-PDIA6 axis is proposed as a potential therapeutic target and predictive biomarker for radiotherapy response.
