Description:

circFCHO2 is upregulated in COPD and promotes airway remodeling by driving EMT and ECM remodeling. It binds the splicing factor PTBP1 to enhance PTBP1 nuclear translocation, repressing GRN pre-mRNA splicing and lowering PGRN, which activates NF-kappaB signaling; circFCHO2 knockdown ameliorates emphysema/airway remodeling in cigarette-smoke COPD mice.
