| Expression pattern: |

| Associated gene: |
PLCB1, AGO2 |
| Associated microRNA: |
miR-1324 |
| Biological function: |
circ-PRKCI promotes cell proliferation and migration; down-regulation or knockdown of circ-PRKCI suppresses the proliferative and migrative potential of cells in vitro. |
| Molecular mechanism: |
circ-PRKCI functions as a molecular sponge/decoy for miR-1324 and upregulates the miR-1324 target PLCB1, thereby regulating cell proliferation and migration. |
| Biological pathway or process: |
proliferation (promotes); migration (promotes); ceRNA regulation (other) |

| Clinical significance: |
circ-PRKCI showed potential diagnostic value for HSCR, with ROC AUC 0.869, cutoff value 0.1506, sensitivity 83%, and specificity 70%. |
| Description: |
circ-PRKCI is significantly down-regulated in HSCR aganglionic tissues and has potential diagnostic value for HSCR. Functionally, circ-PRKCI promotes proliferation and migration in 293T and SH-SY5Y cells, whereas its knockdown suppresses these processes. Mechanistically, it acts as a miR-1324 sponge to relieve miR-1324-mediated repression of PLCB1, forming a circ-PRKCI/miR-1324/PLCB1 regulatory axis. |
