Description:

In 16HBE human bronchial epithelial cells, sodium arsenite increased circASXL1 expression. Functional knockdown experiments showed that reduced circASXL1 promotes cell viability and proliferation, associated with STAT3 activation, increased P65 transcription, NF-kappaB pathway activation, and altered P65 ubiquitination. ILF3 knockdown reduced circASXL1 expression, suggesting ILF3 may regulate circASXL1 biogenesis in this arsenic-induced lung toxicity model.
