circMID1 (hsa_circ_0007933), derived from the MID1 gene, is up-regulated in prostate cancer tissues and cell lines and mainly localizes to the cytoplasm. It promotes proliferation, cell-cycle progression, migration, invasion and glycolysis and enhances xenograft tumor growth. Mechanistically, circMID1 sponges miR-330-3p to increase YTHDC2 and IGF1R expression, activating the IGF1R/AKT signaling axis.
