Description:

circFOXK2 (hsa_circ_0046430) is up-regulated in NSCLC tissues and cell lines and promotes proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT and in vivo tumor growth/metastasis. Mechanistically, it localizes mainly to the cytoplasm and forms a complex with the RBP PABPC1 to stabilize STMN1 mRNA, thereby increasing STMN1 expression; the effect is not mediated by miRNA sponging.
