Description:

circRSU1 is up-regulated in osteoarthritis specimens and in IL-1beta-treated human chondrocytes. Functional experiments showed that circRSU1 knockdown attenuates IL-1beta-induced chondrocyte dysfunction by restoring proliferation and reducing apoptosis, ECM degradation and inflammatory cytokine production. Mechanistically, circRSU1 regulates the miR-345-3p/TRAF6 signaling axis in OA progression.
