High circFLNA expression was associated with lower overall survival rate in GC patients and circFLNA may be a potential target for GC therapy.

Description:

circFLNA is upregulated in gastric cancer tissues and cell lines, and high expression is associated with poorer overall survival. Functionally, circFLNA promotes GC cell proliferation, glycolysis and in vivo tumor growth while suppressing apoptosis. Mechanistically, circFLNA acts as a sponge for miR-1200 to increase SOX5 expression, forming a circFLNA/miR-1200/SOX5 regulatory axis.
