Description:

This study identifies circulating serum exosomal circMYC as up-regulated in NPC, especially in radioresistant NPC, and links high circMYC expression to advanced clinical features, recurrence, and poor survival. Functional experiments indicate that circMYC promotes NPC cell proliferation and radioresistance, while circMYC knockdown sensitizes resistant cells to irradiation. Mechanistically, the study suggests a cytoplasmic ceRNA-related model involving miR-20b-5p/let-7e-5p and AGO1/CRY2 based on bioinformatic prediction.
