Description:

Circ_TMCO3 (hsa_circ_0031027), derived from the TMCO3 gene, is downregulated in cervical cancer tissues and cell lines. Its overexpression suppresses cervical cancer progression by sponging miR-1291 and increasing FRMD6 expression, leading to reduced proliferation, migration, invasion, glycolysis and tumor growth, and increased apoptosis. Higher circ_TMCO3 expression is associated with better overall survival and may serve as a molecular marker for treatment and prognosis.
