Description:

circ-SFMBT2 is up-regulated in gastric cancer tissues and plasma and promotes gastric cancer cell proliferation. Mechanistically, it mainly localizes in the cytoplasm and functions as a ceRNA by sponging miR-182-5p to enhance CREB1 expression (circ-SFMBT2/miR-182-5p/CREB1 axis), with diagnostic potential supported by ROC analysis.
